The first picture is of the "rag pole" there were others all alongside the cliff. Mostly they were trees, but this pole was on the very top of the mountain.
The second picutre is of me and Shannon with the city of Yalta way down beneath us next to the Black Sea.

It's down off the other side of the city of Yalta. We didn't go that far when you guys were here. And, I don't think they hang glide, but that would be fun!
